• Swift Transport Services has won a one-year/21m contract with Fiat Lubricants, after beating off competition from TDG company Inter-City Transport.
The contract covers warehousing and national distribution of the Arexons car care products range which is due for launch next Easter. Fiat Lubricants' managing director John Biggs says it went to Northamptonbased STS because of its level of service.
Inter-City distributes Fiat Lubricants' automotive products; STS handles the agricultural side.
