Living with technology
• To celebrate its 50th anniversary, the Institute of Road Transport Engineers is to host Tecon International '94, a conference covering areas such as fleet management, security, the environment and international legislation.
The theme of the conference is Living with Technology; papers of around 5,000 words are requested from specialists in products, services, techniques or systems relevant to the theme. Synopses will be examined by the institute and selected authors will be asked to submit draft papers by 1 November 1993.
