• The Government is to locate and buy sites for leasing, and eventual sale, to commercial operators to provide the national network of lorry parks recently recommended by a working group report, Mr John Peyton told the House of Commons on Wednesday.
Full support, the Minister said, is being given to the strategy proposed in the report and regional study groups are already being set up to establish the best sites.
