George V -E-3Dock, Hull, is to be opened by British Road Ferry Services Ltd. The office will control movements of traffic passing through the port for the new North Sea Ferries roll-on/roll-off service to Rotterdam, which starts today (Friday), and also consignments dispatched via the existing lift-on unit-load service operated by Associated Humber Lines.
Immingham Control, Too
In addition the office will control movements via the ports of Hull and Immingham when the roll-on/roll-off services to Gothenburg start next summer. The new office is expected to be completed by next February, with Mr. G. B. Whitehead in charge. Meanwhile, he is stationed at the BRS branch at Leeds Road, Hull (tel.: 75121).
