Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

A LIVERPOOL FIRM has Invested in three new trucks in order to take a more hands-on approach to the haulage and distribution market.

Global shipping specialist John S Braid joined The Pallet Network three years ago but started out by subcontracting out its trunking and collection/ delivery operations.

However, earlier this year Braid's Glasgow depot bought three trucks to take the work in-house and now its Liverpool depot has followed suit.

The trucks a Mercedes Actros plated at 44 tonnes, a Mercedes Axor 18-tonner equipped with a tail-lift and a Daf 45LF went on the road earlier this month.

Steve McManus, Liverpool area manager, says: We should have done this a number of years ago. We've now taken these steps to move forward and develop the warehousing and distribution side of the business,"
