Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

AN AWARD-winning truckstop is fighting to have motorway signposts erected and is running into problems in attempts to get a bar licence.

Stuart Wardell, whose Whitwood Truck Stop, off the M62 at Castleford, West Yorkshire won the CM/ Scania eating-only Truckstop award last year, has run into Department of Transport opposition to his plans to have the premises signposted from the M62.

He needs extra traffic to generate profits for the site, which has shower and catering facilities for drivers, and suspects that drivers are using the Granada services at the Al/M62 junction at Ferrybridge.

West Yorkshire Police is opposing his plans for a bar licence.
