TO enable them to accept a wider range of work on larger vehicles and to offer facilities for body repairs from the South Yorkshire area, Homalloy (Yorkshire), Ltd., of Penistone Road, Sheffield, are to take over new factory premises near their present works.
They will command an extra area of nearly 40,000 square feet. Homalloy, a member of the John Brown Engineering Group and an associate of Holmes (Preston), Ltd„ and of Homalloy (LondOn), Ltd.. opened in Sheffield in January. Since then they have supplied a fleet of ambulances for Lancashire County Council, and currently they are fulfilling orders for aluminium ship containers and preparing vehicles for the Commercial Motor Show.
The new premises will ettable them to carry large stocks of aluminium sections and parts for " home " repairs by vehicle operators, and in addition the factory will have facilities for regular body repair work for commercial fleets in South -Yorkshire.
