THE Minister of Transport has di missed an appeal by the Nort Western Road Car Co., Ltd., against decision by the North Western Traff Commissioners who granted a variatio of licence conditions to R. Bullock an Co. (Transport), Ltd., to operate a perio return excursion from Cheadle to Butlin Holiday Camp at Pwllheli.
In a written decision issued last wee the Minister agreed with the Commi! sioners that the evidence in support c the original application was slight. "0 the other hand," the decision continue( "the Commissioners brought to bett much local knowledge and Ion experience in deciding the extent t which the proposed service is necessar in the public interest"
The Minister endorsed the Commit stoners' conclusions that the respondent (R. Bullock and Co.) ought not to b excluded from this relatively new an expanding traffic.
