FOUR earlier regulations dealing with registration and licensing have been consolidated in two new regulations which came into effect on Wednesday (August 15). Certain relaxations have also been introduced.

The new Statutory Instruments are the Road Vehicles (Registration and Licensing) Regulations, 1951, and the Road Vehicles (Index Marks) Regulations. 1951. These replace the Road Vehicles (Regisi0Atiian and Licensing) Regulations, 1949, Road Vehicles (Registration and Licensing) (Amendment) Regulations,. 1950, .
