Northgate Vehicle Hire has served a winding-up petition on Surrey firm DKB Haulage.

The petition, which was originally served by 3 Counties Vehicle Hire before a rebranding exercise changed its name to Northgate, is due to be heard this week in Newcastle's High Court.

Northgate is not commenting on the situation.

DKB Haulage director Brian Neasmith shares the same Mor

The latter business has a licence for three vehicles and three trailers, which are split between operating centres based in Croydon and south London.

When CM contacted K&B Haulage at its Croydon office, we were told it had taken over the phone lines from DKB Haulage.

Neasmith did not respond to calls made to him by CM.
