• Leyland Daf will restore its UK dealers to pre-receivership levels by the end of October, says managing director David Gill: "We will have 56 main UK dealers."
Gill said the company's performance since coming out of receivership was "better than expected" and there would be development soon on parts still in receivership, including the Albion axle plant and the Leyland technical centre.
