OPERATORS to Western France should note that our simplified map of the French coast in the CM Ferries Number (September 2) unfortunately gave the impression that Roscoff is 150 miles further north than is the case. Roscoff is one of two ports — St Maio is the other one — where services are operated by Brittany Ferries.
Plymouth /Rosco ro-ro is operated by Brittany Ferries three times daily out and return (6hr journey by day, iihr by night) and two hours' notice is specified.
Plymouth/St Malo ro-ro is twice weekly May-September (Shr trip); two hours' notice specified.
Portsmouth/St Mato ro-ro is twice daily (9hr trip); two hours' notice specified.
Lo-lo facilities are not available for any of these routes.
