And European Ferries has iven the go-ahead for a £1 million project that will be the irst major development since took over Larne harbour in 973.
The project, which embraes a new berth and the first wo-tier ramp in Ireland, will e completed and operating by rud-summer next year. It is eing partially financed by the :uropean Regional Develop. tent Fund.
Construction of the new erth entails the conversion of wo former general cargo gays into a ro-ro-terminal, jving four ro-ro terminals and ine general cargo quay.
