Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

PIANO LOGISTICS has adopted a leading role in the specialist piano-moving market as it acquires its biggest rival and opens a distribution centre to cope with the growth in business.

Following Huntingdon-based Butler Piano Movers' (BPM) voluntary liquidation on 1 September, Piano Logistics has taken over the firm for an undisclosed sum.

Under the deal, BPM's existing managing director Steve Butler has become Piano Logistics' transport manager, and eight members of staff have been taken on to cope with the group's 10 new accounts. A 250,000 sq ft distribution centre has been opened in Milton Keynes to ease the burden on the piano distributor's Middlesex site.

Managing director Julian Rout explains: "With BPM's closure we are no longer delivering to just London and the South. In our weekly service we will now deliver up to 300 pianos a week all over the country."

While the group has been reaching its targets so far this financial year, Rout claims the private removal side of the business is suffering because fewer people are moving or purchasing property.
