Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

TOWMASTER Transport, the transport division of Scotch Whisky distiller Arthur Bell and Sons, ,made a profit of £165,000 for the year ended June 30. This compares with a loss of £59,000 in the previous year.

The company's dependence upon work provided by the Bell Group is reducing, as the volume of third party business increases. Towmaster is increasing its haulage business connections with other European countries. '

With a fleet of 90 vehicles and over 170 trailers, including 40ft flat beds, curtain siders, tankers, box vans, tilts and tippers, the company operates a wide business in the UK from its four de pots at Clueenborough in Kent, Doncaster in Irlam near Manchester, and Edinburgh.

Over the past two months it has negotiated the purchase of trailers and other equipment from the RFI Group of Leigh in Lancashire, which has now gone out of business. The expertise gained from RFI concerning international operations has allowed Towmaster to develop this activity.
