THE QUEST for regeneration of the RHA began as delegates left Torquay with director-general
Freddie Plaskett's closing address ringing in their ears.
The reorganisation of the RHA's administrative structure would be completed by November, with the establishment of the Eastern district and the closure of the East Midland office in Nottingham, he reported. The new Peterborough office is expected to open in March next year.
Mr Plaskett admitted that t change has not gone withc some problems; there ha been severe misgivings on t part of some members, a harsh words have been spok at times. But most doubts ha blown over and once teethi troubles with the centralis computer are overcome, t new system will run smoothly.
