THE FOLLOWING events are scheduled for the rest of October.
19 IRTE has four sessions organised for today. The first is a talk on " 'Maglev' — The New Transit System" by Dr J. Benussi, at 7.30pm at Dartmouth Cricket Club, Birmingham Rd, West Bromwich. "Insecure Loads" is the title of the second talk, and it will be given by a Department of Transport speaker. It is scheduled for 7.30pm at Five Bridges Hotel, Gateshead. "SAB Automotive Products and Load Sensing", by D. Mitchell of SAB is the third topic covered and is at 7.30pm, The Shaftesbury Hotel, Mount Pleasant, Liverpool (National Car Park). "Refrigeration for Road Transport Vehicles" is the final subject. It will be given by J. Campbell of Petter Refrigeration at 7.30pm, at Halfway House Hotel, Kingseat, Dunfermline. CIT is staging a discussion on the "M25 London Orbital Road" by L. Elliss of a consultancy engineers firm. It starts at 6pm at the Royal Society of Arts, John

20 IRTE has organised a talk on "Modern Suspension Systems" at 7.30pm, at the Greenwood Hotel, Whitton Avenue, Northolt, Middlesex.
20-31 Motor Show takes place at the National Exhibition Centre, Birmingham. It is open on October 20 and 21 for trade representatives at 10am until 7.30pm. The general public will be admitted to the show on the rest of the days, although trade visitors can go in at 9am. On
October 27/28 the show sta, open until 9pm.
20 The FTA and Chemical I dustries Association are holdir a joint seminar on "The Sa Transport of Dangerous Gool by Air." It will be held at the Lo don International Hotel, Cror well Road, London.
