At a meeting of representatives from the metropolitan counties, the AMA voted to elect a "steering group" to have an oversight of the campaign, and to employ a professional adviser, as yet unnamed, to co-ordinate the campaign's various activities, a spokesman told CM.
The meeting confirmed the determination of all the members of the AMA to maintain the right to keep the fares on public transport to a minimum.
