ISH SEMI-STATE transport ■ mpany Coras lompair Eireann 1E) is to standardise on the tw Cummins 10-litre engine r its new fleet of Bombardier 15eS.
The standard Detroit Diesel/ Ilison driveline used in current ombardiers being supplied to le undertaking is to be replaced y the Cummins coupled to the oith D851 transmission.
CIE expects fuel savings of 20 ) 25 per cent from the new drieline combination compared rith the original combination. he Cummins/Voith package will e fitted to 1983 buses.
