Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

A fully automatic drive-through underbody washing machine that is designed to keep commercial vehicles clean to MoT test standards has been introduced by Wickham Industrial Equipment Ltd, together with a triple-purpose hot'and-cold-water washer and steam cleaner. The underbody washer is called the Hurricane while the cleaner is known as the Cascade Mk II.

The Hurricane starts automatically when the vehicle is driven up to it and stops automatically when the vehicle is driven away. The vehicle can be stopped if a heavy dirt concentration requires that extra cleaning time be spent on the operation. Ten highpressure jets are located in the ground-level boom that provide underbody washing and two more jets in each side bracket wash the wheels and side members.

Suitable for indoor or outdoor installation, the machine is designed for surface mounting with run-over ramps but can be recessed in the floor and covered with special grille flooring. If surface mounted it may be transferred from site to site.

The standard Cascade Mk ll has a hotor cold-water throughput of 120gallhr at a working pressure of 500 psi and at temperatures adjustable up to 212°F (100°C). Steam temperature can be varied up to 300°F (130°C).

Larger capacity versions of up to 270 gallons of water per hour throughput are also available. Made by: Wickham Industrial Equipment Ltd, Dashwood House, Old Broad Street, London, EC2.
