L long distance tanker operators k.T.C.) has recently published a booklet iving valuable guidance to drivers on nergericy drill in the event of accidents tvolving tankers carrying petrol, oil and thee inflammable liquids.
Other points covered are the personal recautions to be followed by drivers who nme into physical contact with inflamtable fluids, and the action to be taken connection with a tire, or a major leak the tanker. The guide stresses the hsolute priority of high maintenance amlards and urges A.T.C. members to sue their drivers with comprehensive dety instructions in writing.
