• Oswestry Magistrates have adjourned sentence on P & A Haulage, after the company admitted permitting various drivers' hours offences by one of its drivers.

The Morda, Oswestrybased firm pleaded guilty to permitting Peter Jones to exceed 41/2 hours driving without the required amount of break, to exceed nine hours driving in a day, and to take insufficient daily and weekly rest. The magistrates adjourned the case until December.
