• Appearing before the Oswestry Magistrates, Shropshire owner-driver Mark Jones, trading as Mark Jones Transport, has denied a series of offences, including breaches of the drivers' hours and tachograph regulations and the unauthorised use of a vehicle.
Jones, of Kinnerley, is accused of two offences of using a vehicle without an Operator's Licence, one offence of failing to display a manufacturer's plate on a trailer, one offence of taking insufficient weekly rest, one offence of failing to use a tachograph, and one offence of failing to produce a tachograph chart. The magistrates adjourned the case for trial to 5 December.
