• P&O has bought Irish operator Transcontinental (Rosslare) which has 70 staff and 7,9250 of warehouse space.
The fleet of 38 tractors (mainly 32 and 38-tonne Mercedes-Benz and Leyland Dafs) and 130 trailers is used mainly for refrigeration work. Most of the company's customers are in the Republic of Ireland and include Wexford Creamery, Hord Na Mona and Bord Bainne, transporting butter, meat, cheese and fruit. It will operate separately from other Pandoro operations, maintaining its own identity.
