LICENCE NOT RENEWED AN application to renew an A licenr for three vehicles, each of whic was stated to have a turnover of moi than £60 a week, was refused by ti Scottish Deputy Licensing Authoril last week. The applicants, John Rhir (Haulage Contractors), Ltd., submitte figures showing that the turnover of ti vehicles during the past three mond was £2,464, representing an annu average of £3,280 per vehicle.

This was said to be more than treb the turnover disclosed by the previoi owner of the business, said ti Authority. Mr. W. G. Fraser, mana.g of the company, agreed, but explain( that the business had been increased volume.
