• Talks between Christian Salvesen, Exel Logistics and Wincanton on a joint European food distribution venture are being delayed while Railfreight Distribution agrees timetables with its European counterparts (CM 22-28 Nov 1990).
New timetables will be published later this year.
Until then the three UK distribution companies are unable to offer potential customers details of the intermodal services they intend to offer for the distribution of chilled and frozen food.
