Receiver BDO Binder Hamlyn has sold only one of the depots on offer, a container storage and maintenance site at Dagenham, saving 20 jobs.

Depots at Rainham and Southwark remain open pending acceptable offers, but Steventon warns they too will be closed if none are forthcoming.
The distribution arm of BFI was closed as soon as the company collapsed. The firm's directors are advising the receiver while the rest of the business is disposed of. BFI was in the top 30 UK transport firms.
