Driving Award Scheme designed to "show the Government, and the public, that the members of the RHA and their drivers are taking positive action to improve road safety." The awards take the form of diplomas and lapel badges whcih denote the number of accident-free years achieved by each entrant. Special awards will be given to drivers reaching particular milestones in the scheme. The scheme will be administered by the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA). Companies pay an annual registration fee of £7, while drivers wishing to enrol are charged a one-off payment of just 49 pence.
