Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• It is indeed all too true that we learn something new every day.

I see that a Swedish lift truck manufacturer has proudly announced the marketing of the world's first 'stand-up' fork lift without a steering wheel.

The company says, so I read, that this revolutionary design has replaced the wheel with a flat disc, suitable for operators who drive from a standing position. The disc, it is added, has a knob which the driver uses with his left hand.

Lansing has a revolutionary design: it is also a fiat disc but with holes and it too has a control knob. This revolutionary design is called a steering wheel. Lansing marketed its stand-up lift truck with its 'revolutionary' steering device in 1954! This truck is still in production. It is also true, I would only want to add, that there is nothing new under the sun.
