Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

HAULIERS FUND FERRY • A group of Irish haulage contractors is funding the costs of opening up a third ferry service to operate between west Wales and Eire.

RO-RO Ferries, the new company, will run the Canadian-owned ferry Marie Evangeline, capable of carrying 45 trucks, from Pembroke Dock to Rosslare. It will use the £10 million terminal built for the Irish-state owned B&I company which pulled out of the route over a year ago and has since begun a joint operation with rival Sealink at Fishguard Harbour.

The hauliers are reported to be frustrated at delays on other Irish sea crossings and plan to operate the ferry daily to Rosslare, building up to nine sailings a week.

I=1 A new train ferry has been launched at the Normed shipyard in Dunkirk. It is being built for the shipping division of French Railways (SNCF) and will come into service on the Dover-Dunkirk route in January 1988.
