NEW FROM ROLATRUC MI Rolatruc has introduced

a new powered pallet truck for loading bay operations. The truck, rated at 1600kg, joins the company's range between the existing PPT1250E and the recently launched LT2000E powered pallet truck models.

The PPT1600E is built to suit the demanding loading bay environment. It is equipped with a motor built to handle the truck's rated load with enlarged castors to cope with loading docks and rough floor surfaces.

TWO-PACK PAINT ▪ Turbo, a two-pack paint

system launched by ICI Autocolor, is claimed to give operators liveries that are better looking and more durable than existing finishes.

The application and drying characteristics can be modified to suit conditions and vehicle sizes, with fast, medium or slow thinners.

The Turbo system includes Turbo lntercoat, a primer which enables Turbo to be applied in repainting commercial vehicles previously finished in polyurethane or a synthetic finish. This avoids having to strip a vehicle back to the bare metal.

SEMPERIT'S LATEST • Semperit's latest tyre for trucks and buses, the Eurosteel M334, is claimed to give better mileages, improved handling and to have more resistance to damage than the M234 model that it has replaced. The improvements are said to be due to a newly-developed four-layer steel belt bonded inside the tyre beneath the tread area. The first three layers are made from a new design of steel cord which, says Semperit, improves the inner bonding while the fourth steel layer has very high elongation characteristics and protects the tread against external damage.

Like its predecessor, the M334 is recommended for truck front axles and all wheel positions on buses. It is available in all popular sizes.
