RENTCO GROWS IN LIVERPOOL • Up to 25% more space for trailer parking and a covered workshop facility are features of Rentco's new Liverpool depot.
The company's Liverpool operation is now on a 0.5 hectare site at Rentco Nationwide, Regent Road (between Strand Road and Church Street), Bootle, Liverpool 2 (051-922 2213).
IIFT FOR SMT IN Former Bedford truck dealer SMT of Westfield Avenue Edinburgh, (now part of the Lex Group) has been appointed a full heavy truck specialist dealer for Iveco Ford Truck. SMT (031-337 9300) will take over the sales and service territory for Ford and Iveco commercials previously held by Alexanders and FMD of Edinburgh.
In addition to handling all Iveco Ford models above 3.5 tonnes, SMT will sell the long wheelbase (LCY) Transit range.
SMT has also signed an authorised service dealer agreement with Bedford, enabling it to offer full warranty and parts support to its existing Bedford customers for a further five years.
