• High Street goods distributor Lowfield Distribution, part of the Imperial Foods Division of the Hanson Trust, has opened its sixteenth distribution centre in the UK.
A new 6,206m2 warehouse based at Hebbuni, Tyne and Wear, has been set up to manage Lowfield's new contract with the Beecham Group, involving the national distribution of the entire Beecham product range. CI Lowfield has also taken delivery of 14 Scania P92M 4 x 2 RS tractor units to operate from its new distribution centre at Tring.
