• Transport Development Group has paid £2.3 million for warehousing company Storage and Export Facilities, which operates from premises in Wrexham, Deeside and Bicester.
The newly-acquired company will shortly merge with another TDG subsidiary, Williams Bros (Wales) under the direction of David Williams — Williams
Bros' managing director. According to Williams, the purchase of S&EF adds around 43,500m2 to the company's 46,450m2 of warehousing.
Williams Bros runs over 100 vehicles and provides extensive warehousing, storage and distribution services.
It now has long-term plans to further expand its bulk powder tanker business. •
