The 66kW 8.90 models, which are now available exstock, are around 2700 cheaper than the premium version, depending on the wheelbase selected.
Weight savings in the region of 120kg have been made as a result of the reduced specification and this is increased still further on the longer 4.25 and 4.6m wheelbases by omitting the second 100-litre fuel tank.
Cab changes include fixed rather than swivelling quarterlights, a single passenger seat in place of the dual version and the deletion of the steering column lock. The tachometer and oil pressure gauge have also been omitted, but the warning light and buzzer are retained. The rear under bumper, formerly fitted as standard, now becomes an optional extra on the 8.90.
