Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

There is no way in which any industry can carry increased cost imposed from outside their Co ntrol. These are legitimate increases to operating costs and must be borne by the customer. To absorb them is tantamount to rate cutting.

We have not heard of tobacconists or publicans not. passing on their Budget increases. Why should road transport be different? Editor.
