Mr. Bamford explained that if the application were granted, one-man buses would be operated on the route. Their. Cantles services were now being run tocapacity, because in 1952 there were only 350 houses there, whereas the total was now 2,300. Reorganization would reduce
the corporation's overall mileage. .
Cross-examined by Mr. W. Hargrave. for Leon Motor Services, Mr. Bamford refused to say whether the corporation wanted to interfere with Leon Motors' existing service. Mr. Hargrave submitted that the corpotation -were . seeking a monopoly and intended to "play with duplicates" if . the application Were granted.
