Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• ERF is to fit automatic chassis lubrication (ACL) as standard on all vehicles over 17 tonnes. It has specified Tecalemit Interlube equipment.

Currently about 45% of all ERFs are specified with ACL, usually the multi-line Interlube XGS system. Standard fitting will increase this to over 95% by the end of March 1995. ACL lemains an option on 17-tonners.

ERF's managing director John Bryant says of the decision: "It's been done for our customers' benefit, giving them even greater vehicle reliability while reducing maintenance and downtime."

Customers can opt for oil, soft or heavy grease applications without modification because the pump is capable of handling all three grades of lubricant.

ERF enjoyed greatly improved performance during 1994, with half-year figures showing registrations up by 30%.
