Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

for its primary distribution fleet. Thirty of these are straight-frame trailers for bulk canned deliveries, the others have stepped chassis with three extra swivelling deck sections over the main deck.

The upper platforms secure via support legs that locate and lock into the side rave, six per side. This enables integrated loads of smaller items to be carried with larger bulk items below. For return trips with empties the extra floor sections swivel into the vertical position down the centre of the trailer and lock into place with bolts.

An intermediate bulkhead fitted over the step means the neck section can be used as a separate compartment.

The step-frames have a 930mm rear deck height through using 245/70R 17.5in tyres with 1.44m over the second floor and 1.7m beneath it.

The straight-framed trailers tare out at 6.64 tonnes; the step decks weigh 7.32 tonnes. All are based on M&G chassis with Ride-Rite suspension management systems.
