• Ingersoll-Rand has added a 3/4in air-powered impact wrench to its Super Duty range of vehicle aftermarket tools, offering a combination of high power output and increased operator comfort.
The IR 255 Impactool weighs just 4.5kg and delivers a maximum torque of 1,200Nm (900ft/lb). This power is controlled by a four-position regulator. Useful features include a 360° swivel inlet to eliminate twisted supply hoses and a through-handle exhaust. The cost is £430 (ex-VAT).
