• Davies Turner has extended its forwarding services for cargo to and from northern Germany to cover all of Britain, following a deal with distribution company Krage Spedition of Hannover.

All 10 of Davies Turner's UK cargo centres can now handle both import and export freighting with Northern Germany.

FEDEX WRAPS IT UP • Federal Express (UK) has launched a new parcel "wrapping" and door-to-door/noonnext day delivery service called the Fedex Pak, which specialises in urgent documents and parcels up to 10kg.

Consignments need not be wrapped as they are placed in plastic pouches.

Fedex Pak is available for business users throughout England, Scotland and Wales and costs .213.00 (volume discounts available). All goods and documents carried are covered by £25,000 per kilo insurance.
