Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

EN An unemployed truck driver who moved to London to get a job to support his family was awarded £4,000 in the High Court last Wednesday, following an accident at York.

Colin Edmunds moved from Swansea to take a job with Sandell Perkins. He had just finished loading his lorry with wood at the company's premises in Forstall Road, Aylesford, Kent, when he was hit by a forklift truck.

Edmunds was pinned to the side of his vehicle and his back was pressed against a rope hook. He suffered injuries to his lower back and ankle and was forced to give up the job which he had held for 11 months.

The court heard that he has been unable to play sports and has been depressed since the accident. His employers originally denied negligence, but agreed to a settlement of £4,000 plus costs.
