• Kingston upon Hull City Transport has bought Hull independent Citylink, little more than a year after its formation.
Toyshop owner David Coster realised a lifetime's ambition last January when he set up Citylink on a route within the city. Now he will drive for his old company, which will be run from KHCT's Cottingham Road depot.
An Optare City Pacer, two Routemasters and a Daimler Fleetline are part of the deal: six older Hull double-deckers with a new green livery will continue to promote the Citylink image.
