Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• Trailer manufacturer and bodybuilder Don-Bur has launched the Pillarless Palletmaster II which features an unobstructed 12.2m load area and side aperture.

It has a fully-tensioned roof structure built with lightweight materials including Don-Bur's extruded alloy cant rail section.

The trailer has a pressed steel front bulkhead, faced internally with high-grade ply. Exterior panelling and the air deflector are glass fibre. The Palletmaster II has top tracking for the Sapphire side curtains manufactured by Don-Bur subsidiary, Longton Commercial Vehicle Services.

Steetiey Transport is the first customer for the trailer, supplied with tri-axle SAP air suspension and running gear. Mechanical suspension is also available.

Tanker sale

• Whale Tankers has sold its first £30,000 highcapacity vacuum tanker trailer to North West Water Authority.

The 22,730-litre (5,000gal) tanker, claims Whale, is the largest capacity possible under axleloading regulations. Sales director Keith Palmer says the tanker is fitted with a liquid-ring exhauster compressor to reduce noise.

Two similar tankers have gone into service with Whale Tanker Hire, and are being used by the Severn Trent and Thames Water Authorities.
