B P REVAMPS H OY STATIONS • BP is refurbishing three of its service stations to cater for the needs of CV drivers as well as ordinary motorists.
These stations are in Merthyr Tydfil, Brachley and Wisley and they will all be converted along the lines of the Al2 Rivenhall service station, which offers a separated HGV car park, four high-speed diesel pumps and a shop.
WEATHER NEWS FROM THE AA • A telephone information service, giving latest weather and road news in all parts of the country, is being launched by the Automobile Association. The AA Directory uses data from the association's own Roadwatch network, with reports from other motoring groups and is available to the road-using public.
Users pay only the cost of a standard British Telecom phone call. A leaflet is available from all Automobile Association offices.
