Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

for its Leyland National re-power kits from West Midlands Travel, which is buying 122 kits to update part of its large fleet of National single-deckers.

The re-power kit is based on the 11.6-litre naturallyaspirated Daf DKDL 1160 horizontal six-cylinder engine which produces 121kW (164hp) and has a maximum torque of 655Nm (4831bft) at 1,300rpm. According to Daf Bus the installation parts in the kit enable it to be easily fitted in the National, replacing the old 8.2-litre Leyland engine.

WMT will take delivery of the re-power kits over the next two years.

Bob McLeod, UK sales manager for Daf Bus, claims that the order "endorses the viability of our re-power kits as a positive alternative to the uncertainty of an engine overhaul".

West Midlands expects a further five-year operating life from the repowered-Nationals.
