WE record with regret the death of Mr Massimo Moro, managing director of Pirelli Ltd. Mr Moro, 45, had recently undergone two serious operations following a deterioration in his general health.
During his fourteen month period with Pirelli Limited he was instrumental in creating a fundamental change in the company's fortunes, turning a loss making operation into one which is expected to be profitable by the end of 1984.
He is survived by his wife and two sons.
