Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

your very well balanced article with interest regarding the Club run on May 7 to Brighton.

If you will look at the list of winners you will note that few were owner-driven, and as a member who has owner-driven on every run, I feel that this should be stipulated or the correct term be given, viz, "entered by, driven by". As things are someone can enter a vehicle, not drive it on the run at all, go down by modern car and be given an award.

Can you see someone getting first prize in the Monte Carlo Rally is they were towed in from the boundary?

We do not aspire to win, but it must be very disheartening to members who have worked very hard and cannot compete against teams of workmen and professionally restored jobs.

Would it not be a good thing to emulate Ford which allows its vehicles to go on the Model T run but does not enter them in the Concours?

I Wish the same element of sportsmanship would spread to our Club.

Mrs. JOSEPHINE A. HOWARD, South Oxhey, Herts.
