AN electronic speed control is fitted to a new heavy-duty variable-speed industrial drill introduced by Stanley Bridges Ltd. and marketed under the brand name of Stanley. By using a five-colour dial it is possible to alter the drilling speed to suit a particular job while the motor is running.
Drilling capacities in steel are up to in. —through wood up to 1 in.
Speed range is from 350 to 950 r.p.m., with the voltage 200/250 a.c.
