MRS. BARBARA CASTLE means to introduce more regulations about commercial vehicles' lighting before the winter. Mr. Stephen Swingler, Parliamentary Secretary to the Ministry of 'Transport made this clear this week when the Commons approved the Road Transport Lighting Bill, He said she was now considering the compulsory introduction of distinctive markings. Experiments showed that the most easily distinguished were red reflective, red-orange fluorescent and white reflective strips.
